American world number 17 James Blake once again clinched the top seeding in this week’s U.S. Men’s Claycourt Championships, a $500,000 ATP Masters 250 event which is being held at Houston, Texas.
Last year, Blake reached the finals of this event but lost to Marcel Granollers of Spain (then 7th seed). The Spaniard is back this week to defend the title as sixth seed.

In order to make it to the finals, Granollers will have to overcome past champions such as Mardy Fish and Tommy Haas along the way. The winner will receive $79,000.
