Rafael Nadal’s foundation to set up tennis school in India

World number one Rafael Nadal, through his recently launched foundation, will launch its tennis school in India. This was reported by local media late last week.

The building of the school named Nadal Tennis School (NTS) will take place later this year and is expected to be fit for operations by the middle of next year. The school is located at Andhra Pradesh in Southern India.

Nadal’s foundation will also get assistance from partner organization Fundacion Vincente Ferrer.

The school will have four international-standard clay courts where aspiring tennis players can practice and hone their skills.

Nadal’s family has set up the foundation last January. His mother, Ana Maria Parera, is the chairman of the organization.
