Roland Garros | French Open 2009 Final: Roger Federer vs Robin Soderling live tennis match (free video stream)

The men’s singles final in this year’s Roland Garros is going to be very interesting to watch considering that world number two Roger Federer had been on this stage for the past three years but finished runner-up in those occasions. He lost those matches to four-time defending champion Rafael Nadal.

However, this year has an interesting twist – Nadal won’t be his opponent this Sunday. Rather, it would be Swedish 23rd seed Robin Soderling, the man who defeated Nadal in the fourth round.

Both players dispatched their semifinal opponents in five set marathons. Soderling came from behind to oust 12th seed Chilean Fernando Gonzalez 6-3, 7-5, 5-7, 4-6, 6-4 while Federer picked up momentum starting from the fourth set to end Argentine fifth seed Juan Martin del Potro‘s spectacular run in Paris 3-6, 7-6, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4.

Could this be Federer’s chance to win the elusive claycourt title and finally complete a Career Slam? Or will Soderling make another giant killing and win his first career Slam? Your guess is as good as mine.
