The Catella Swedish Open, a €450,000 ATP 250 tournament, takes place this week in the city of Bastad with Spaniard Fernando Verdasco taking the top seeding. His compatriot, defending champion Tommy Robredo, is seeded third and will attempt for a title hat-trick, having also won the trophy in 2006. Sweden’s pride Robin Soderling, the French Open 2009 runner-up, is seeded second.
