Spanish former world number one Juan Carlos Ferrero has a chance to emulate the feat made by 2001 champion Goran Ivanisevic of Croatia.
Ferrero was entered in this tournament as a wild card entrant, same case with the Croatian at that time when he made a stunning run to the finals and to the title.
