Serbian world number four Novak Djokovic said he’s enjoying the lesser than usual media interest on him these past two weeks. He said this gives him more freedom to produce his best in the tournament.
Djokovic will have a chance to regain the world number three ranking if he wins this year’s Wimbledon and Andy Murray fails to reach the final. This might be a tall order for the 22-year old since he will have to beat German player Tommy Haas in the quarterfinals.
This will serve as Haas’ first quarterfinal appearance at the grasscourt Slam for the past 11 years. However, he’ll be a bit confident with the upcoming match since he defeated Djokovic earlier this month at the Halle final. The match could go either way at this point.
