World number three Andy Murray of Britain and American sixth seed Andy Roddick only met once in grass and that was three years ago in Wimbledon where the British won in straight sets. Overall, they’ve battled eight times with Murray holding the lead 6-2 in head-to-head match record.

Despite Murray’s impressive record against Roddick on paper, the American has reached the grasscourt Slam final twice which gives him the edge on grasscourts. However, Murray is expected to get the crowd support during the semifinal since he’s attempting to become the first British male player to win the title since 1938. Such a tough match to call.
