If Nadal wins the French Open title this year, he will regain the world number one ranking. Should he lose, Roger Federer will remain at the top until Wimbledon.
If Soderling wins the title, he’ll be guaranteed to take the number four ranking. Otherwise, he’ll settle for number 6.
