World number one Rafael Nadal is just a game away from clinching his career Grand Slam at the US Open 2010. In order to get his 9th Grand Slam title, he will have to beat Serbian number three Novak Djokovic who upset five-time champion Roger Federer in the thrilling five-set semifinal.
Djokovic was the clear underdog in the semifinals but managed to save 2 match points against the Swiss star and went on to win the marathon match, to the surprise of the fans.
Nadal easily defeated Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny in three sets.
