ATP World Tour Finals 2010: Andy Murray, Bryan brothers win opener

Britain’s Andy Murray started on a high at Barclays ATP World Tour Finals 2010 after he defeated Robin Soderling of Sweden 6-2, 6-4 in the opening singles match of the event held for the second straight year at O2 in London. For the past two years, Murray has failed to get past the round robin stage and will aim to break the trend this year.

In doubles, the Bryan brothers started the title defense by beating 2010 Wimbledon champions Jurgen Melzer and Philipp Petschner 6-3, 7-5.
