Swedish star Robin Soderling successfully defended the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament title after outlasting French opponent Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 on Sunday.
There were a total of 32 aces recorded in the match and despite Tsonga’s 20 aces, it was Soderling who showed greater consistency in the match to secure the title.
Tsonga has had a challenging 2010 season which saw his ranking dip slightly. His last ATP final appearance was in October 2009.
