The Abierto Mexicano Telcel tournament starts this week at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess and both ATP and WTA stars will take part in this fantastic event.
World number six and defending champion David Ferrer is back and will expect tough challenges from claycourt specialists such as two-time champions Nicolas Almagro and Juan Ignacio Chela.
The women’s field is headed by Germany’s Julia Goerges followed by last year’s runner up Polona Hercog of Slovenia.
