The $220,000 XIX Copa BBVA Colsanitas 2011 event features some of the youngest players in the top 100. Germany’s Julia Goerges gets the top seeding in this claycourt event. The world number 34 is going to face tough competition from the other seeded players such as Polona Hercog (second seed) and Simona Halep (third seed).
Defending champion Mariana Duque Marino is back this year but since she’s not seeded in the event, she’ll face a tougher opponents in the earlier rounds.
