The Asia Oceania Davis Cup Group I first round match between Philippines and Japan can be viewed live via TV5.
Randy Villanueva, Cebuana Lhuillier-Philippines Davis Cup administrator, said that the matches will be broadcast live thans to the agreement made with TV5 executive Raul dela Cruz.
“It is one of the many firsts in this tie, we hope to ride on the public’s interest to draw more support for the Philippine team,” Villanueva said.
The Philippines vs Japan Davis Cup 2011 tie will take place at the newly constructed shell-clay court inside Plantation Bay Spa and Resort in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. A retractable roof has been set in place in order for the games to continue should there be rainshowers
