The best ATP stars are going to take part the prestigious Sony Ericsson Open 2011. The Miami Masters, an ATP 1000 event, attracted a record 312,386 guests last year. The six-time ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the year has a total prize money of $4.5 million for the men’s event and another $4.5 million for the women’s event.
Leading the men’s field is top-ranked Rafael Nadal followed by Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. Defending champion Andy Roddick is back in an attempt to win the title for the third time (2004, 2010 winner).
