The best WTA stars will be seen at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in the next weeks for the prestigious Sony Ericsson Open. With a $4.5 million total cash prize purse for the women’s event, each participant will certainly be working hard to get the biggest share of the pie.
Last year’s runner-up Venus Williams had already announced that she won’t be taking part in this event due to injury. However, defending champion and world number two Kim Clijsters has already committed to take part in this event.
