Two American tennis players earned wild-card slots at the Roland Garros 2011 after winning the USTA French Open 2011 wild-card playoffs.
Atlanta’s Irina Falconi beat Julia Boserup of Newport Beach, California in three sets to ear the wild-card slot in the women’s singles event while Milwaukee’s Tim Smyczek beat Atlanta’s Donald Young in three tight sets to earn a spot in the men’s singles event.
Falconi earned her third consecutive appearance in a Grand Slam main draw while Smyczek earned his second.
