The highly anticipated Roland Garros 2011 third round match between Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Argentina’s Juan Martin Del Potro was suspended because of darkness on Friday night. The match lasted two sets with both players tied with a set apiece.
Djokovic won the first set 6-3 while del Potro managed to regroup and clinch the second set.
The Serbian world number two’s unbeated 2011 win streak is put to a tougher test this time against the 2009 US Open champion. Del Potro was a semifinalist at the Roland Garros tournament last year.
