The WTA Championships, which takes place every end of the season, will be staged in Istanbul, Turkey starting this year until the year 2013. The WTA Tour announced that BNP Paribas, a global leader in banking and financial services, and its Turkish partner bank Türk Ekonomi Bankasý (TEB), are the joint title sponsors of this prestigious tournament The WTA Championships feature the world’s top eight singles player and four doubles teams competing for top honors and cash prizes.
BNP Paribas and TEB will be the joint sponsors of the tournament for the next three years. As per agreement, they will become the official bank of the WTA Championships and will receive global exposure through broadcast, on-court branding and digital brand exposure. The brands will also enjoy promotions and international marketing via WTA’s multiple platforms – social media and digital channels.
