US tennis star Andy Roddick to launch clothing line for fashion brand

American tennis player Andy Roddick is slated to launch his own line of sports clothing via fashion brand Lacoste which includes shorts, polo shirts, jackets and track pants. This development was reported by Women’s Wear Daily website.

In an interview with WWD, Roddick said that players tend to have a problem with their wardrobe especially if they’re always on the road. Roddick has been a long-time endorser of Lacoste, having been the brand’s ambassador for the past six years.

The American dropped out of the world’s top ten due to inactivity during the claycourt season, including his withdrawal at the ongoing French Open tournament due to shoulder injury. The tennis star is married to supermodel and actress Brookyn Decker.
