World number three Vera Zvonareva reached the final of the inaugural 2011 Baku Cup in Azerbaijan after beating Mariya Koryttseva of Ukraine in the semifinals. She will meet compatriot Ksenia Pervak in the Sunday’s final match.
The top-seeded Zvonareva met little resistance from her challenger in this WTA International hardcourt tournament. Pervak, on the other hand, blasted past Kazakhstan’s Galina Voskoboeva in three sets to earn her first career WTA final.
