2011 Wimbledon: Bryan brothers advance to fifth doubles final

Wimbledon 2011 top-seeded doubles team Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan advanced to their fifth final at the All England Club after overcoming tough challenge from sixth-seeded Nenad Zimonjic and Michael Llodra. The Americans prevailed in the fifth set to win 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 6-7, 9-7. The match took more than three and a half hours to finish.

The Bryans will face eighth-seeded Horia Tecau and Robert Lindstedt in the final on Saturday. Their opponents are appearing in the final for the second straight year. The Bryans have won the Wimbledon men’s doubles title in 2006 and is aiming for their second this weekend. Should they win the title, they’ll earn their 11th Grand Slam and will tie Mark Woodforde and Todd Woodbridge for the most number of Slam team titles.
