ATP Malaysian Open, Kuala Lumpur launches revamped site, unveils new developments

The ATP Malaysia Open, Kuala Lumpur 2011, one of the only five ATP-level tournaments in Asia, launched its revamped  site which can now accommodate applications for volunteers and media accreditation for the 2011 event which takes place from September 24 to October 2.

Sporting brand Wilson confirmed that it will continue its partnership with the ATP 250 tournament until 2013 via a signing ceremony that took place last month at the Malaysian capital.

“The brand Wilson is synonymous with quality tennis equipment and apparel. Wilson is the Official Ball sponsor for two out of the four Grand Slams and we are extremely pleased to reprise our role as Official Sponsors for what I believe is a very high quality event organized by IMG,” said Wilson Country Manager Mr. KL Choong in a statement.

The ATP Malaysian Open, Kuala Lumpur was launched in 2009 with Russia’s Nikolay Davydenko winning the title. Last year, Mikhail Youzhny, another Russian, emerged victorious.
