World number 9 Mardy Fish of the United States advanced to his second straight final after beating compatriot Ryan Harrison 6-0, 4-6, 7-6 at the 2011 Farmers Classic.
The top-seeded American also defeated Harrison in Atlanta semifinals last week.
“That’s probably the cleanest set of tennis I’ve played in a long time,” Fish said, referring to his Saturday victory.
Gulbis beat USA’s Alex Bogomolov, Jr. in the other semifinal to earn his second career ATP Tour final. He won his first title at last year’s Delray Beach tournament.
The Mardy Fish vs Ernests Gulbis 2011 Farmers Classic Final Match will take place on Sunday, July 31.
