US Open 2011 golf champion Rory McIlray has been romantically linked to WTA’s number one player Caroline Wozniacki lately after the two has been spotted hanging out together in London recently.
Reports surfaced that McIlroy and Wozniacki were spotted at a diner in London shortly after the Wimbledon 2011 tournament. Wozniacki was at the British capital for a series of photoshoots for sponsors Stella McCartney and Adidas.
McIlroy’s management has released a statement saying that the 22-year old golf star’s relationship to longtime girlfriend has ended before the Open Championship.
Wozniacki met McIlroy on July 2 where they both matched the Wladimir Klitschko vs David Haye match albeit in different seats. The world no. 1 Danish player then relayed via her Twitter page that she found McIlroy to be “really down to earth great guy.”
