Wimbledon 2011: Rafael Nadal to face Novak Djokovic in Final

Defending Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal advanced to the final after beating Andy Murray in the semifinals for the second straight year at the All England Club. The match was a four-set battle with the Spaniard emerging the victor after a first set slump 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, 6-4.

Nadal will face a familiar foe in the Championship match, newly-crowned world number one Novak Djokovic of Serbia. Djokovic is assured of the top ranking starting on Monday by reaching the final after he defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France in the semifinals.

Nadal leads Djokovic in head-to-head series 16-11. However, Djokovic had won their past four meetings – all in 2011 season and all four are title matches.
