Ukrainian player Aleksandr Dolgopolov won his first career ATP Tour title at the 2011 Croatia Open in Umag after beating home bet Marin Cilic 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. This is Dolgopolov’s second ATP final, his first one resulting to a loss to Nicolas Almagro earlier this year in Brazil.
“I feel great after winning my first title,” the champion said.
“I hope more victories are to come,” he added.
