2012 London Olympics Tennis: Martina Hingis still unsure about participating

Former world number one Martina Hingis is still considering whether she should participate at the 2012 London Olympics tennis competition. The “Swiss Miss” may pair up with Roger Federer for the mixed doubles competition.

The Olympics mixed doubles tennis competition will make its debut at the 2012 London Olympic Games. The possibility of seeing Federer and Hingis, both multiple Grand Slam champions, has certainly brought global interest.

Hingis was in Vancouver, Canada last week because of the launch of her new clothing line for Tonic Tennis. She said in an interview that there’s a lot of possibilities but it would be too early to make confirmations.
“If, if, if. I mean, definitely I would have to play some tournaments, like mingle around, play some doubles, some mixed (doubles) at Grand Slams. But that’s another issue if you want to go through all that,” the five-time Grand Slam champion was quoted as saying.
