Andy Murray wins 2011 Cincinnati Masters

World number four Andy Murray won his second ATP World Tour title of the season after beating top-ranked Novak Djokovic in the final of the 2011 Cincinnati Masters. Murray lead 6-4, 3-0 before his opponent retired with a shoulder injury. Djokovic has been making waves this season after winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon tournaments plus 7 other titles.

The Serbian compiled a 57-1 win-loss record before the match. He’s now 57-2 this season and is a heavy favorite to win the US Open which begins in a week’s time.
“I am confident that I can recover and be ready for the US Open,” Djokovic said dyring the press conference after the match.
