The Cincinnati Masters 2011 Men’s Title will be contested by world number one Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Great Britain’s Andy Murray after both players won their semifinal matches on Saturday.
Djokovic won his 57th match of the season after his opponent, Tomas Berdych, retired after the first set was concluded 7-5. Earlier in the day, Murray outlasted 2011 US Open Series winner Mardy Fish 6-3, 7-6.
Murray is aiming to become the second player to beat Djokovic this season. Djokovic has a 57-1 record with his only loss coming from the hands of Roger Federer at the Roland Garros semifinals.
