The Cincinnati Open 2011 Women’s title was contested by two former top-ranked players and at the end of this exciting face-off it was Maria Sharapova of Russia who won against Jelena Jankovic of Serbia with a score of 4-6, 7-6, 6-3.
Meanwhile, the doubles title was won by Vania King of United States and Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan.
