ATP World Tour Finals 2011 line-up completed

The final three slots for the prestigious year-end ATP World Tour Finals 2011 have been filled on Thursday.

Tomas Berdych (CZE), Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA) and Mardy Fish (USA) secured the final three seats following the victory of Berdych over Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia in the Paris Masters third round. Tipsarevic needed to win the Paris Masters title in order to secure the final seat.

The first five qualifiers for the ATP World Tour Finals which begins on November 20 are Novak Djokovic (SRB), Rafael Nadal (ESP), Roger Federer (SUI), Andy Murray (GBR) and David Ferrer (ESP).

“It’s just amazing,” Berdych said.

“I had a great season last year with the final of Wimbledon and semifinal in Paris and other results … but now I’m sitting in the position that I made it again,” he added.

“I’m just really happy to go there. At the beginning of the year I didn’t play really well and I didn’t expect to be there at the end of the season,” Tsonga said.

As for Fish, he still plans to join the ATP World Tour finals despite having forced to pull out of Paris Masters due to hamstring injury.
