Aircel Chennai Open 2012: Canada’s Milos Raonic wins title

The final match of the 2012 Aircel Chennai Open on Sunday took three hours and 14 minutes and in the end it was Canada’s Milos Raonic who prevailed in the three-set encounter, posting a 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 win against Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia. This is Raonic’s second career ATP title.

Raonic earned $71,900 plus 250 ranking points while Tipsarevic earned $37,860 and 150 points.

“It is only my second title. It is an awesome feeling,” Raonic said.
