Four-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will meet David Ferrer at the quarterfinals of the 2012 Australian Open tournament. Both players have recorded impressive results at the Australian Open last year with Djokovic winning the title for the second time and Ferrer reaching the semifinals. The last time they’ve played against each other was at the round robin stage of the 2011 ATP World Tour Finals with Ferrer winning that match.
Djokovic leads the head-to-head series record against Ferrer with 6-5.
