The Sony Ericsson Open Women’s Singles Draw will be made available later this week with current world number one Victoria Azarenka of Belarus expected to become the tournament top seed. Azarenka became the women’s top-ranked player after winning the 2012 Australian Open. She’s also the defending champion of this tournament.
The Crandon Park Tennis Center in Miami, Florida will be filled with ATP and WTA stars from March 19 to April 1 for the 2012 edition of the Sony Ericsson Open – Miami Masters. The winners of the men’s and women’s singles events this year will receive lucrative cash prize money and ranking points as well.
