2012 Wimbledon: Kim Clijsters prolongs farewell with another win

Kim Clijsters is not about ready to say goodbye to the Wimbledon 2012 tournament after progressing to the fourth round after beating Vera Zvonareva of Russia after the latter retired while trailing 6-3, 4-3 due to respiratory illness.

Clijsters already announced earlier this year that she will be stepping away from the game for good after the US Open 2012 tournament. Clijsters took a break from tennis in 2007 to start a family but came back in 2009 and went on to win additional three Grand Slam singles titles.

Up next for the Belgian is eighth-seeded Angelique Kerber of Germany. This will be their first career meeting.
