Top-seeded David Ferrer of Spain won the UNICEF Open title for the second time in his career after a straight sets win over unseeded Philipp Petzschner of Germany 6-3, 6-4. On the women’s side, Russia’s Nadia Petrova ended the fairytale run of Urszula Radwanska 6-4, 6-3 to win the title in this Wimbledon warm-up event.

“Now I want to enjoy this moment and tomorrow I will focus on Wimbledon. I played my best match of the week,” the Spaniard said. Ferrer is seeded seventh at the All England Club. Meanwhile, Petrova is seeded 20th at Wimbledon.
