ATP World Tour Rankings as August 20, 2012

A record-setting title win at the Cincinnati Masters 2012 solidified Roger Federer’s hold of the world number one ranking, increasing the ranking points-deficit between him and number two Djokovic to more than 900 points from 75 points last weekend. Djokovic retained his ranking points as he’s a defending finalist at the Cincinnati event. Still in number three is Rafael Nadal while defending champion Andy Murray stayed in fourth with a significant decline in ranking points as he crashed out early in the tournament.
