World number two Maria Sharapova is already in New York, prepping up for the final Grand Slam event of the year – the 2012 US Open. Aside from this, the Russian tennis star is at the Big Apple for the launch of her new line of premium gummy candies branded as Sugarpova.
The 25-year old has been posting regularly on her official Facebook page about the updates of the launch and she’s definitely excited with the new venture. Her latest post:
“One more day until my candy is official! In the meantime I took my team to the brand new IT’SUGAR store that opened a few days ago on Broadway, to be my first loyal Sugarpova customers (I didn’t give them much choice but to be Sugarpova customers)…I also ended up buying a pack for myself. My candy will be sold at all their stores worldwide, as well as on their website www.itsugar.com and at www.sugarpova.com.
