The 2012 Swiss Indoors Basel tournament begins from October 22 to 28, an indoor event that will be headed by home favorite and multiple winner Roger Federer. Federer, a five-time winner and currently two-time defending champion, is aiming to finish the year as world number one and will need to defend three consecutive indoor tennis events starting at Basel.
