Janko Tipsarevic sets career record at Australian Open 2013 by reaching fourth round

Serbia’s number two player Janko Tipsarevic has achieved a rare career milestone when he reached the fourth round of the Australian Open 2013 tournament. He became one of the ATP Tour stars to have reached the fourth round at all Grand Slam events.

Tipsarevic defeated 32nd seed Julien Benneteau of France 3-6, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 in three hours and 20 minutes. He will next face Spain’s Nicolas Almagro who powered past 24th seeded Jerzy Janowicz of Poland.
