A report from Darren Rovell of ESPN revealed that Russian tennis superstar Maria Sharapova is currently dating Bulgarian Grigor Dimitriv.
Dimitrov remained tight-lipped about this development saying that he doesn’t talk about his private life.
The speculations arose when Dimitrov, 21, was seen with Sharapova and her team in Milan, Italy last November and they seemed to hit it off.
Dimitrov, tagged as “Baby Fed” during his junior years, has also made some noise last year because he was also involved with Serena Williams. However, the courtship fizzled with Williams now being rumored to have a special friendship with her coach Patrick Mouratoglou (also Dimitrov’s coach during that time). The Bulgarian left Mouratoglou’s tennis academy in Paris and transferred in Sweden.
The young ATP player reached the final of the Brisbane International tournament on Sunday, losing the title to defending champion Andy Murray.
Sharapova announced last spring that she has ended her engagement to former Los Angeles Lakers player Sasha Vujacic.
