Serena Williams showed no signs of injury in Australian Open 2013 second round victory

World number three Serena Williams did not show signs that she had an injury scare when she blasted past Garbine Muguruza of Spain 6-2, 6-0 in the second round of competitions at the Australian Open 2013.

Williams is the overwhelming favorite to win the Daphne Akhurst Memorial Trophy for the sixth time. She’s so far dominated her opponents in the first two rounds at the Melbourne Park, winning the first round with double bagel scores and this time only allowed her opponent to muster two games.

Up next for Williams is 72nd-ranked Ayumi Morita of Japan.
