Djokovic vs Murray Indian Wells semifinal match on course

Top-ranked Novak Djokovic and world number three Andy Murray are on course to meet in the semifinals of the BNP Paribas Open 2013. Should they win all of their matches prior to the semifinals, these two tennis superstars will play against each other for the first time since the Australian Open 2013 Final. Djokovic is currently on a 13-match unbeaten streak in 2013 which saw him successfully defending the Australian Open title for the third straight year.

Djokovic is attempting to win his third Indian Wells title following his victories in 2008 and 2011. Murray, on the other hand, is chasing his first title in Indian Wells.

Murray is playing in his first tennis tournament since his Australian Open 2013 loss and opted to skip the Middle East tournaments. An impressive run at Indian Wells could lead to potentially unseating Roger Federer as world number two once the tournament is over.
