Novak Djokovic solidified his hold at the top ranking after winning the MOnte Carlo Masters 2013 tournament for the first time, finally ending the eight-year reign of Rafael Nadal. Nadal remains in number five. A third round loss by Andy Murray shifted the number two and three ranking with Roger Federer getting back to number two with just a ten point lead over Murray.
