Novak Djokovic aims to be 100% healthy during Monte Carlo Masters 2013

Top-ranked Novak Djokovic is the top seed of this week’s Monte Carlo Masters 2013 tournament and he aims to be a hundred percent healthy during this prestigious ATP 1000 Masters event. It can be remembered that Djokovic injured his ankle during his heroic win at the Davis Cup tournament last week.

An MRI examination that took place last Tuesday showed no structural damage to the right ankle, the one that he twisted during the match.

In his Facebook post recently, Djokovic said: “After seeing the results of all the tests we did, I am really positive and strong. I’m doing the best I can with my team to recover fast and be ready for the upcoming tournaments. I am grateful to have so many of you worrying for me and sending me words of support. Thank you!”

Djokovic has been in the Monte Carlo Masters final twice but lost both times to Rafael Nadal in 2009 and last year. Nadal has won the Monte Carlo tournament eight years in a row.
