Andy Murray marches on at the All England Club, sets up third round clash with Robredo

Great Britain’s Andy Murray avoided an early exit at the Wimbledon Championships just like the other members of the Big Four on Wednesday when he eliminated dangerous Taiwanese player Yen-Hsun Lu 6-3, 6-3, 7-5.

Murray was a runner-up at the All England Club last year and is once again bearing the heavy pressure of winning the title for his home country for the first time since 1936. With the early exits of rivals Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, the Scot’s road to the final has suddenly become easier. However, he’s not about to become complacent knowing that his next match will be tricky.

Murray will next play 32nd seed Tommy Robredo of Spain. Robredo beat last week’s Eastbourne tournament titlist Nicolas Mahut in straight sets.
