Czech pair wins Roland Garros 2013 mixed doubles title

Frantisek Cermak and Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic made it as far as the Australian Open mixed doubles final in January but lost. However, this time they’re not getting this chance slip away when they reached the Roland Garros mixed doubles final and this time with a different result. They’ll leave Paris as the Roland Garros 2013 Mixed doubles champions.

The Czech duo defeated Daniel Nestor of Canada and Kristina Mladenovic of France 1-6, 6-4, 10-6 in a tightly contested final on Thuesday at the Philippe Chatrier Stadium.

This is the first mixed doubles title for the pair.
