By winning the eighth Roland Garros title on Sunday, Rafael Nadal has earned his 12th Grand Slam title which makes him just two Slams away from equaling Pete Sampras‘ haul of 14 and 5 Slams away from emulating Roger Federer‘s haul of 17. With the way he’s playing against David Ferrer and Novak Djokovic at this year’s French Open, it is highly likely that French Open number eight is not the last title that he’ll get in Paris.
