Rafael Nadal sets historic Slam record after eighth Roland Garros win

Spain’s Rafael Nadal continues to set milestones in tennis after an impressive straight sets win against compatriot David Ferrer at the French Open final on Sunday. The title win is Nadal’s eighth crown at Roland Garros which makes him the only player in tennis history to have the distinction of having won the same Grand Slam eight times.

Nadal was locked with other tennis greats last year when he won his seventh French Open title. With the win, he now leads the pack. Check out the list below:
